Showcasing the Global Network of Kellogg Fellows
The Kellogg Fellows Leadership Alliance conducted a targeted leadership scan among its members to ascertain information about the challenges and mandates of future leadership programs and innovative promising leadership practices.
Leadership that is cutting edge focuses on building collective action toward shared goals within a community of place or interest. It is about helping people develop the knowledge, skill and motivation to help others work together to define and achieve their vision of the future.
Most of our communities are divided economically, politically, racially and spiritually. So we must ask ourselves the following questions...
The way I define leadership in my practice is through three basic concepts... While this may not be cutting edge, it makes sense for folks and it works.
“Both as a natural byproduct of perceptions of broken leadership that has resulted in the current crises and in the need to find new leadership to resolve crises (...) How do you define leadership that is cutting edge and what program models hold promise?”
The Salon—a gathering hosted for stimulating, involving discussion and interaction—is a tradition centuries in the making with the ability to create a space for work on RACE in any community of your choosing.
